Thank you for helping me!! Since I can't use mouse or anything I have to unplug computer and then everything works fine again. I found another support forum where someone suggested that USB Overdrive could interfere with the pairing of a magic trackpad. Or would it be that my keyboard broke at the exact same time as I moved?

Working... It seems that my keyboard behaves ike it's paired to some goshtly device that doesn't exists. I haven't had this problem before when using the wireless keyboard with either device.Time for aspirin and a lie down in a darkened room to recover!!! have a peek here At this point I have spent so much time trying to get this to work that I think it's more cost effective for me to just buy a brand new keyboard

When Apple updated the Magic Mouse, it removed the standard AA batteries and instead made use of a custom rechargeable battery pack that isn't user accessible.
