I have the same problem and found holding the Ctrl button, and then turning the mouse wheel really fast does change the zoom level. Grif, Thanks for replying. While it's not obvious, the "System Status" tab in this setup, notes this pointer as "disabled," which happens if any other mouse is connected. (In older laptops I usually had to All rights reserved. So far, I'm living with the problem, having adapted other solutions to deal with it. Any idea what is going on? Should it be "runs" or "run" in the following sentence? Still, if things shift too much, then I might suspect that the video driver isn't handling Word's zooming and redisplay instructions properly, and would see if an updated video driver resolves

We migrated to Microsoft Office 2007 last Friday at work, and I'm experiencing the new applications in all their glory. I notice that HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Data did not get recreated when I reopened Word. I recall having a problem with zooming Word 2007 in Windows XP as well, but not in Word 2003. I have another problem which may not be related, but still concerns zooming in Word 2007 and I'm wondering if you had the same effect.
