Wired Apple Keyboard Not Working


I have to copy paste a space in order for it to work on safari. Plugged in the extension lead I have had for 10 years and never used until now- BINGO. Press it to turn on the Keyboard. You saved me much time by being concise with directions. Source

These keyboards appear to be defective or more than likely an iOS issues.

Have also had Safari freezing with the little rainbow wheel whirling for minutes - so I now have to close if with a Force Quit. And that fixed it permanently - well until I bought another keyboard (but that's another story). Make sure that the connector is completely in the port. (USB plugs fit into ports one way only, and won't plug in if you try to insert them upside-down.)
