Wow Mouse Not Working With Gw2
Wow Mouse Not Working With Gw2
Good luck. It will work on vista and xp as well. When the window pops up asking you to push the key you want to use just push your mouse button and it will show you which key that button is pressing. Here's what I did:First of all, run the WoW MMO Gaming Mouse: Legendary Edition software panel as Administrator (not sure if that makes any difference but I did to be safe).Start http://swhcr.com/wow-mouse/wow-mouse-not-working-at-all.html
This seems to be the only mouse they dont offer a firmware flasher for. Don't hit enter.-Click Ok, Hit Apply.-Go into GW2 (You can do all of the above while it is already running).-All I then did was just click the button on the mouse They also said that you should be able to do the same thing by turning off User Account Control. no real "fix" but it just worked after yelling constant curse words at it and doing the same thing over and over.

I've tried to re install the horrible client that Steel series gives you, 3 times in fact and also used the default config with no success. This is at least a usable workaround. If you set a button to Action Button 1, it works the same for GW2 as it does in WoW. Also to be noted, I had this same problem during Cataclysm beta, where the extra buttons did nothing, but come release they went back to normal.Anyone else experiencing issues like this? All I had to do was go to the cataclysm mouse folder (in my case C:\Program Files (x86)\SteelSeries\World of Warcraft Cataclysm MMO Gaming Mouse) find the executable files (I think you Take care, and thanks again. As a tip from someone who's been using these types of mice for ~3 years to accomplish this, after you've set they key you want in your mouse software, go into

I commonly use it to type numbers in web browsers and such. Then when in the game you can press the button while in chat. The mouse works fine except when ever I exit the game and then go back in, the keybinds from my mouse are suddenly not recognized. his comment is here A time delay macrp needs to be made.
i noticed that on the productivity section of SetPoint, it was bound to winword.exe and works.exe. But the Steelseriesclient has problems Recognizing MWO when it is started MWO has a Launcher so i have need to swap Profile Manualy, to the MWO Profile. I only have the two "forward / back" buttons on the thumb side.
Any other ideas?
I guess that's a good selling point. azzazel_99Sep 27, 2014, 3:10 AM its the firmware on the mouse. It was just dumb luck that I knew that because the software was of no help at all (neither is their help file btw, so dont bother lol). I'm not sure then.
doesn't make sense why they would interfere, but i guess they did. I searched for a while looking for a similar thread but all i found were people saying to use/buy this mouse, and a guy that posted in the wrong spot and Hopefully that fixes the issue. weblink One thing you can try is to set your buttons to "Generic Button" if you can, and then go into the MWO keybind menu and set them up in the mouse

IIRC, the key combination for the Zone Map (I'm assuming this is the one you meant) in WoW is SHIFT+M. Hope this helps. I have a Marathon M705 Logitech mouse. My WoW Cataclysm Mouse worked perfectly back in BWE1, but in the next test it stopped working and hasn't worked since. Thanks again everyone for the tips.
Need an account? The mouse key bind section in the options menu is still there, it never stopped being a thing you can do. I have the mmo wow gaming mouse (Same as your mouse but without the cata theme/button shapes). More details on my blog post on evilbox.ro Hope it helps.
The way I worked around this at first was to try Keyboard-style macros, but the Setpoint software is too slow for that...Ultimately I set up a Game profile on the Mouse But yeah, it would be nice if they added that back, though I don't remember it ever being possible during closed beta. Kystyrael
