Now..here in lies the problem, upn closer inspection I noticed that the barcode and part number on the actual cable itself is not the same as the one on the box Also one of the TV i tested this on, My own TV, the Pioner Elite pro-110fd, It didnt work, and also stated in that it supports 1080p via component. Nice try but you failed to prove yourself once again. It is outputting to the HDMI from those results, but the display doesn't understand the signal - either display doesn't support it or 360 signal is altogether bogus. How come? This feature is not available right now.
VGA cable will give you HD as long as it's running 1280 x 720 (720p) or above, keeping the 16/9 ratio.
